XC2000 SYSTEM

MAIN CHARACTERISTIC
XC2000 is a high level microprocessor-based multifunction control panel, which can perfectly work in stand-alone configuration if connected with a microprocessor-based terminal as XKB4016. When its 16 input lines and 6 output signals are sufficient, it can work in a correct way without other peripherals. XC2000 shows its superiority when security systems are very large or characterized by many connection possibilities. In fact, thanks to the RS485 serial connections, you can connect to the main control panel and manage up to 256 XESP input control cards. Considering that each XESP expansion has 16 inputs and 6 outputs, XC2000 shows many increase possibilities: 4,096 inputs (plus control panel 16) and 1,536 outputs. After this, in order to favour further on output signal possibilities, you can connect to the main control panel and manage up to 256 XSEU expansions each XSEU has 16 independent outputs, it means that 4096 output signals are available. For controlling and managing the whole system you can connect up to 256 XKB4016 terminals to RS485 serials.
We summarize XC2000 main expansion characteristics:
Max 256 XESP expansions for a total amount of 4,096 inputs and 1536 additional outputs.
Max 256 XSEU expansions for a total amount of 4,096 additional outputs.
Max 256 XKB4016 microprocessor-based terminal having 40 characters lighted super twist display.
Both XESP and XSEU can be dislocated both into XC2000 container and connected at a distance (RS485 serials have only 2 wires), and they allow as the longest distance between line beginning and end about 1,200 mt., but using our OPTICBUS fiber optic interfaces, it is possible to indefinitely increase the useful connection distance.

As XESP cards have many functions suitable for managing feeders, they can be considered independent control panels, which are connected with XC2000 only for supervision tasks. In fact, they are also available in special container including feeder: due to this fact, they are completely independent from XC2000 control panel, and they even allow a reciprocal check with the main control panel. XSEU are especially useful for many different activations connected with one input working condition or one control panel function. They are extraordinary when you have to create synoptical panels.
Finally, we can summarize XC2000 politics: all power you need, where and when you need, with no compromises!
If you need to manage the system via telephonic line, XMODEM is the modem card. Thanks to it and a personal computer including a modem and a software, you can manage the whole system for many different activations. In fact you can change programmations, act on system activation conditions, on exits, read historical memory, visualize alarms, and many further functions. XMODEM allows selected information tran- smission to many different users in real time.
XC2000 has not only huge increase possibilities, but also huge programming and personalizing possibilities of the system thanks to a very high level software. This system is planned in order to be multi-user and multi-tasking, as it allows a time subdivision and many different users can use it at the same time.

After this in the future we will be able to make many additions and improvements concerning this panel, and even if you can consider XC2000 our final aim, because it is very complete and it shows a huge quantity of different functions, it is only our starting-point!
