XC2000 and its peripheral
expansions can be programmed using XKB4016 terminals:
this is a very simple but also not very fast way,
especially when system dimensions are very large and
inputs number very high. In order to make this
programmation faster, you can use SUPERX: this is a
software working under Windows95™ and followings.
Thanks to this software you can program the whole system
at home or in your office and then, with a simple mouse
click, you can send your programming to the whole
system!! In fact, using SUPERX, you can record all
programming on disk, create files, act adjournment and
configuration in a very simple way. Some copy-functions
allow to act repeated programmations very quickly, while
default keys allow to return to the original conditions.
With SUPERX you can read, visualize, select and record
the event memory of the whole system. Some proper
functions allow to read memory concerning the period of
time you are interested in, to choose a particular event
or a class of events, to visualize more important details
concerning a single event.
SUPERX allows to use serials RS232 of personal computer
connected with serials RS232 of XC2000 control panel for
transfering data very quickly. SUPERX is the best tool
that a modern installer utilizing XC2000 can have.
XC2000 is
the centre of a system extremely opened towards outside
and multitasking: we mean that it can control and be
controlled by many different peripheral expansions in a
not-exclusive way. Because of this, while users normally
utilize the system, it can be controlled by a personal
computer. XMANAGER is a high level software for XC2000
working under Windows 95™ or followings. Thanks to
this software, codes owners can act on the whole system
in many different ways, especially as follow:
You can continuously visualize on monitor feeders
condition.
You can continuously visualize activation condition of
all system sectors.
You can visualize in real-time all events acting on
system, with automatic visualization of areas-plants
interested by alarms or control signals (to realize
plants you can use MAPBUILDER, as we specify
below).
You can partially and/or totally change system activation
condition. You can act on exclusion condition of every
single line.
You can add, cancel or modify system user codes.
You can visualize all system inputs condition, also in an
analogical way.
You can directly act on system outputs.
You can visualize historical memory, with many
filter-functions acting on visualized events.
You can change timers and manual activations.
And many other ones. XMANAGER functions (as XC2000 ones)
are always going to increase in their number and
possibilities.
MAPBUILDER is necessary for XMANAGER in order to create
graphic maps regarding areas controlled by the system.
Thanks to simple visual tools working with Windows
95™ and followings, it allows to create graphic
maps including professional characteristics in few
minutes. MAPBUILDER has many graphic elements (as bricks,
doors, windows, different sensors, etc.) and when they
are dislocated one next to the other one, everyone can
utilize it for creating maps, even people who do not know
CAD or in general graphic programs. Appropriate tools
allow the dislocation of complete walls of different
dimensions, the cancellation, the change of map
resolutions, zoom, text sections introduction or
cancellation, and many other ones. You can bring in
MAPBUILDER further graphic custom elements, with no
limitations regarding dimensions, in order to personalize
further on maps and print them with many different scale
factor.
XMANAGER and MAPBUILDER are XC2000 very "special
tools", because they allow to manage a system owning
exclusive characteristics and functions. Obviously they
are not necessary in order to make the whole system
working, because it can also be managed by XKB4016
terminals with no need of personal computer. However,
they are very useful especially for wide or very complex
control systems, or when you want to use in the best way
all building centralization and managing possibilities
offered by XC2000. In this case user will be connected
with XC2000 simply by starting XMANAGER on his personal
computer and he will be able to stop simply interrupting
XMANAGER, avoiding that the whole system is influenced by
on-line connection.
